Knowing Yourself Is True Power

Between the coaching and workshops we offer a 5-week cohort-based practicum designed to teach scientific, theoretical and experiential aspects of mindfulness. Then we explore how these connect with leadership principles. Participants learn about a variety of mindfulness techniques as well as methods for weaving these techniques into everyday life. The goal is to establish a regular mindfulness practice, unlock the power of group work and build a mindset of daily reflection.

How Does it Work?

There are three main components of the MindKindness Leadership Mission:

Private Online Learning Platform

Participants practice daily guided meditations, read contemplative practice literature, share reflections, and gain specific insight on how mindfulness can benefit the experience of work and life. This is complemented by insight from peers and expert mindfulness instructors.

Weekly Group Video Calls

Participants meet once a week for 60-minute group video calls for live practice and discussion with MindKind’s faculty. On these calls, groups review reading materials and practices, answer questions, express challenges and practice mindfulness together.

Group Support

Through group calls and the online platform, participants regularly share insights, progress and personal feedback with one another. They are also split into small teams and pair with a buddy to hold each other accountable for the work. These components provide encouragement and support between the weekly calls and foster a sense of community and shared progress. MindKind’s faculty members also join online discussions to support all participants.
