MindKindness Journey:
A Path of Uncompromising Compassion
MindKindness is a meditative practice designed to support your personal and professional growth. Created by Dr. Home and taught for over a decade, MindKindness has helped people like you develop eight essential capabilities, empowering you to live a more conscious and meaningful life.
The Eight Petals of MindKindness that we'll practice include: embodied awareness, intention, breath, gratitude, curiosity, contentment, compassion, and letting go.
The MindKindness Journey is a 100-day intensive training program led by Dr. Home that includes:
Daily meditation using the eight-petal practices (20 minutes morning, 20 minutes evening)
Daily reflection and research (20 minutes)
12 weekly group sessions via Zoom
Pre-recorded videos, audio guides, and reading materials
Approximately 100 hours of total practice
This program requires uncompromising dedication and delivers a transformation equivalent to a 10-day retreat, all while fitting into your daily life.

Craving deeper connections? Experience being truly seen and understood by others.
Struggling with work-life balance? Find harmony between work, relationships, and personal growth.
Navigating diverse environments? Develop the ability to move fluidly between different worldviews.
Mind constantly racing? Transform intellectual understanding into a lived experience of presence.
Healing from loss or disconnection? Move through grief and relationship pain toward joy and acceptance.
Program Cost
The MindKindness Journey is free of charge to all participants.
This approach is inspired by the Vipassana tradition, where wisdom teachings are considered priceless and can only be truly given freely. We refuse no one because of a lack of money.
While the program is free, it requires your most valuable asset—your wholehearted and unwavering commitment:
Complete dedication to 100 days of practice without missing daily sessions
Full participation in all 12 weekly group meetings
Responsibility to support fellow practitioners so everyone completes the journey together
Willingness to maintain the code of conduct throughout the program
This commitment-based model ensures that participants value the teachings through their dedication rather than through financial investment.
Upon completing the course, those who have benefited may choose to donate. These donations sustain the program for future participants, continuing the tradition of freely offered wisdom. This cycle of generosity allows MindKindness Journey to reach more people across generations, regardless of their financial means.
The actual currency of this program is your uncompromising commitment to the full 100 days of practice.

Why Dr. Home's Journey Matters to You?
As you explore Dr. Home's creation of MindKindness, you may recognize a familiar tension in your own experience—between the demands of modern life and a more profound yearning for presence, purpose, and peace.
Dr. Home's Path
From surviving 19 days adrift at sea to teaching at top universities and working with the World Bank, and then finding himself walking among Balinese rice fields—this journey carries a universal truth: authentic transformation emerges not from escaping life's challenges, but from integrating them.
MindKindness is a tribute to two of his root teachers, integrating the relentless determination of Goenkaji's Vipassana with the gentle healing of Thich Nhat Hanh's mindfulness. Dr. Home brings over 35 years of experience in coaching, facilitation, and research on adult learning and leadership to create an approach that meets you exactly where you are, while inviting you to grow beyond what you thought possible.
His journey through remarkable transitions—from theater director to healer during the HIV/AIDS epidemic to scholar-researcher of mindful leadership—has equipped him to guide you through your integration process. The questions he has wrestled with are likely the same ones you face now:
How can I cultivate self-awareness while meeting the demands of my career and relationships?
How is it possible to develop spiritual depth without abandoning my responsibilities?
How can inner work translate into tangible results in my external reality?
Dr. Home created MindKindness because conventional approaches weren't addressing these questions. When his Columbia University students ran out of meditation classes crying, he recognized the need for a path that honors both rigor and accessibility—what he calls "uncompromising compassion."

What MindKindness Offers
That Other Approaches Don't
Common challenges with traditional meditation or mindfulness program:
Time constraints: Conventional retreats require 10+ days away from responsibilities
Trauma triggers: Standard meditation instructions can overwhelm those with unprocessed trauma
Integration difficulties: Retreat insights often fade when confronting daily life
Isolation: Many practices ignore the relational dimension of growth

This isn't another self-improvement checkbox. It's a path to transformative presence for yourself and others.
The question isn't whether you need MindKindness' offerings. We all need more significant presence, purpose, and peace in these challenging times. The question is whether you're ready to commit to the path that develops these qualities—not through another quick fix but through devoted practice in community with others on the same journey.
If you sense that now is the time for this more profound commitment, Dr. Home and the MindKindness await.
Your seat in the circle of twelve awaits. Will you claim it?
